5月27日 Experience:Interview for TSIComing back from the TSI interview,I feel comfortable,because today I speaked English very freely and fluently.Haha,if it were the behavioral interview,I might have a worse performance,for almost no preparation about it.It is also the next homework needed to do. TSI,TECC Summer Institute,a summer volunteer project, some top universities students from Beijing,Shanghai, Hongkong and US would go to some rural counties of China,teached and trained the teachers there,bring the new ways and notions of teaching to theam. TECC,the full name "Technology and Education:Connecting Culture", a student NGO,is found by students in Beijing,for connecting culture from different places and trying to protect the local culture in some new and different ways. I apply for TSI, and wanna make contribution,bring something positive to the other people,especially to the weaker groups in our society. I got the knowledge from the best university of our country,and I wanna them more useful and valuable.The interviewer asked me why I apply for the project,or what I wanna get from teh project. To be honest,I have never thought about the gains from it.by now the only thing I think about is what kind of thing I can give the people,what I can give,but get. A new idea from the interview:we guys,with the good thought,go there the local places,the things we might bring to them can be right and also can be wrong.There is a risky possibility that we could destroy the local culture,just as what the Amercians did to the Indians. So what can we do and bring for them? It depends,depends on the local teachers themselves. 5月26日 Running Life: Relay Race Match Of BJ High Schools2 days ago, a teammate asked me if I wanna run for a relay race match,I hesitated for 5 seconds and gave "yes",Because I had never experienced that before.hehe,new things always have a magic power and attract me. Yesterday morning, I did take part in the match,it was proven to be a wonderful thing in my mind.28 teams from about 10 universities in all attended the match,the match was planned and divided into 8 sessions,one seession one circle,one circle 1.8 km. All the players were dressed in yellow&green,special suit,with the words "running club" on it. Such a massive scene. Some deep impressions: 1、One girl from Beijing Sport University just used 6 min 44 sec to finish that match,unbelievable. 2、I had thought it should be a very easy thing,it was only 1800 meters far,but it was not the fact.Match is different from trainning. Actually I seemed to lose my energy at the beginning 400 meters,the reason? I don't know,maybe for having no breakfast,or running too much in recent 3 days, and no real match experience.Finally I got my result:8 min 30 sec.Haha，Maybe I am not a born fast guy. Runninglife,the word reminds me of Gun forest's running life.Yatou asked me why I wanna run,I have no ideas to reply.Maybe I just wanna give my life a bit thing different.
5月23日 Experience:I talked with many US guys in EnglishAnother Experience,haha~~ At afternoon I went to run again,8 circles is a piece of cake for me now,because I never thought of giving up,so it is easy logically.however,the fragjump is a big big disaster for me..... After running,I went to Dufeng Cafe Bar,joined in the activity of English Club.There were many US guys at the same ago like me,I talked with them for 2 hours,and found that my listening skills are poor,just couldn't follow that guy from east coast of United States,who said he speaked less faster than usual,god.......... Anyway,I speaked out in English,good thing for me.I will continued to attend the activities Experience learned: 1、Zach said that he and the friends aroud him,they don't think our Chinese people don't have freedom that the Americans have,It is the same,he even said the protest is being wrongly used by many people in US,they just wanna express their views and strongly put their ideas on the others.It is one man's autarchy,I see. Questions got: 1、Why do most of our Chinese think that we are not free? Think about is ,I find that the point may be in our mind. Our education makes our mind restricted.It is not that we do not have that freedom,only we can not have a free mind. Experience: I run for exactly 20 circles yesterday afternoonRobert told us,today would be your experience or history,it depends on your mind and action. Try the best to make your days valuable,and then you get experience. Luckily,yesterday I got a piece of experience,because I made a breakthough of myself. I happened to know Jiang and his Marathon Association.I love running,so I went to participate in their activity:running. Divided in Group C,the basic, we were asked to run for 20 circles,one circle 400 meters,and one circle 2min,20seconds. 20 circles?My god,I can't believe it.I told Jiang that I will be exhausted halfway and I must not finish it. Jiang said with smile on the face:"many people said that to me,but they are ok now." The former 10 circles were ok for me,but the rest 10 was a nightmare,which teached me a lot. "why should I run to the end? is it necessary for me?" ,the alike words read in my mind for countless times."Why should I insist?",you guys knowed that the green grass ground is so close to me,I just needed to do a bit easy action,I can throw myself on it,wa....,so relaxed!! but the situation above just happened in my mind,although so many times. "A journey 90 percent completed is still only half done." I told me,so "how can I reach the half?""The target should be 18." To be honest,I thought about giving up hundreds of time before 18."It could be a big shame for me if I give up "I thought.I continued to run,with 2 or 3 teammates around me toghether.Run,run,run.... When I realized I reached the end,I shout out loudly "Well done!~",and then immediately lay on the grass,so relax,so happy.At that time I believe I've done a great thing,a thing that I even can never imagine,I grow out of myself. Experience learned: 1、Perseverance is really hard,but it would be a great thing if you did it. 2、Teamwork is so important,because I just could run for 5 circles if I run with myself alone.To work in a team can create some miracle for you,some breakthough.
